Situated on the eastern portion of downtown Calgary, the Salvation Army “Citadel of Hope” building provides a welcome contrast to its high rise neighbours. |

Custom Metal Contracting were able to marry approximately 10,000SF of “Konig Blue”, “Banner Red” and “Bronze” architectural panels to the traditional brick and stucco envelope. | |

The chapel at the Citadel of Hope provided a unique challenge with its curved blue panel wall sloping outwards at the top. The Architects’ requirement was that all joints be perfectly horizontal. It was accommodated by all panels in this element being curved at top and bottom as well as in the horizontal to provide a truly horizontal joint. |
